The story of HoodiesUK is like most businesses, a passion or small sideline business that developed and grew into its own specific printing monster. Whilst at University of Portsmouth in 2005 Jordan Boon the Founder started to spray paint designs onto t-shirts to sell online via eBay to make a little extra money for parting. The designs started to sell well so decided to speak to the University printing & fashion department as well as the Business & Enterprise Centre for help and advice.

The main advice was that spray painting onto garments was not going to cut it with commercial printing so with a change in course at University and a few units in fashion and textile as well as moving office / print studio from spray painting on the floor in a car park to being given an small office in the University the business was born and became somewhat official.It was a very interesting time to start a business with the ever greater reach of many online companies being at the forefront of the technology boom coming from 2005 to present the online market has been a fantastic place to grow a business with little to non financial support.

Together with the business growth there have been many blips and bumps along the way from the 2007 financial crash were as a new foundling business we were able to be agile enough to avoid any real issues and may have even helped our business with our low debt and small overheads we weathered the storm extremely well, Our largest issue was however the Covid Pandemic of 2020 which really saw our business struggle with the banning of mass events our business model came crashing down, However just 15 months later we are fighting back and busier than ever with a solid plan for growth. Although never to be complicit with both the business and customers our business has grown from strength to strength and with the addition of new equipment and printing methods together with a large number of suppliers and contact we have been able to offer our customers an amazing range of products unrivalled by our competitors.
We also price ourselves on our extremely fast turnaround time with our aims to get garments printed and dispatched within 2-3 working days.

We are always excited to think of the future and what it will bring to our business, but for now we are getting down to work, Printing garments and keeping our customers happy..
